From Puppy to ‘Golden Oldie’, Pug to Great Dane, you can rest assured, our caring and fully qualified team will ensure your dog’s time with us is enjoyable and that we will have them looking their very best. For puppy’s we understand the importance of gently building their trust, and place lots of emphasis on play and treats whilst introducing them to new noises and the feeling of being bathed. Once your puppy has received his vaccinations, we encourage owners to bring their pup along for their very first groom and for all puppy’s up to the age of 4 months we offer 1 free puppy groom. Many of our clients have found the ‘1st puppy groom’ service to be very positive, and noticed their pup to be much more relaxed when bringing them to their next grooming session with us. Consultation Service

A key part of our dog grooming service is our consultation session that we offer prior to your dog being groomed. This service is particularly useful for new clients and enables us to assess the dogs coat and temperament, so that we can provide the most appropriate care and handling. We will also discuss the services you require during their grooming session in order to allocate the right amount of time for your dog’s appointment at Tails of Westerham. Some owners want a one-off bath, others want the full works, which is why we find this consultation service very important. We will also take the time to explain the grooming techniques most appropriate to your dog as dogs’ coats vary enormously, and we will offer advice to keep their coats in peak condition between grooms.
